Doodle Bugs: Therapeutic & Sensory Art Play for Toddlers+

Doodle Bugs is a weekly therapeutic and sensory art and play group for toddlers and up and their caregivers. This playful, nurturing group invites little ones to explore hands-on art and sensory experiences — while caregivers enjoy connection, community, and a mindful creative pause in their week.

About the Program

Sessions are designed to encourage curiosity, self-expression, and joyful connection.
The focus is on the process, not the product, helping children build confidence, creativity, and regulation.
Facilitated by Becky Johnson, artist, art therapist, and mama to 3, bringing warmth, humor, and expertise in child development and creative expression.
Location for Art:

Typically held in the backyard for open, playful exploration.
Inclement weather: Sessions move inside the Art Space studio.

Dress for mess! Creativity can get colorful and tactile.

Membership & Pricing

We strive to prevent cost from being a barrier to participation. Suggested rates are:

Standard Monthly Membership: $110/month
Discount Rate: $90/month (3 discount spots available) ***FULL***
Community Support Rate: $130/month

Art supplies, studio rent, and upkeep help keep this creative space thriving. If you’re able to contribute at or above the suggested rate, it helps sustain the program and makes it possible for other families to join at a lower cost.
