Doodle Bugs is a weekly therapeutic and sensory art and play group for toddlers and up and their caregivers. This playful, nurturing group invites little ones to explore color, texture, and creativity through hands-on art and sensory experiences — while caregivers enjoy connection, community, and a mindful creative pause in their week.

About the Program

  • Sessions are designed to encourage curiosity, self-expression, and joyful connection.

  • The focus is on the process, not the product, helping children build confidence, creativity, and regulation.

  • Facilitated by Becky Johnson, artist, art therapist, and mama to 3, bringing warmth, humor, and expertise in child development and creative expression.

  • Location for Art:

    • Typically held in the backyard for open, playful exploration.

    • Inclement weather: Sessions move inside the Art Space studio.

  • Dress for mess!

Cost

• Five-class punch card: $135 ($27/class)
• Drop-ins: $30 (space permitting)
• Punch card holders get priority when/if a class fills

Punch cards are good for 1 year, can be used week to week, non-transferable.
